Maxine Porch Scholarship, McAdenville Woman's Club

Amount: up to $1,500

Students must reside in McAdenville or have at least one parent/guardian residing in McAdenville (this will be verified by Gaston County GIS tax map.

The McAdenville Woman's Club established the Maxine Porch Scholarship to assist qualified students who reside in McAdenville wishing to further their education beyond high school The club named the scholarship in honor of Maxine Porch, a club member who devoted her time and talents to the betterment of the McAdenville community.

Eligibility:

Students must reside in McAdenville or have at least one parent/guardian residing in McAdenville (this will be verified by Gaston County GIS tax map.

Student must have at least a 2.75 GPA on a 4.0 scale (unweighted average)

Student must be attending one of the following:

Accredited four-year college

Accredited two year college

Vocational School

Community College

School of Nursing (at hospital or university)

Graduate school
