During the Fall of 2021, 98 students will fulfill their educational dreams and the dreams of their parents, thanks, in part, to the donors of the Gaston Community Foundation. The Gaston Community Foundation has over 37 scholarship funds established by donors who are committed to education. Many scholarships are named in memory of or honor of a loved one that valued education. Students are evaluated by an advisory committee of board members and community volunteers based on a written application, test scores, transcripts and interviews. Individual scholarships range in amounts from $500 to $5,000 per year.
Scholarships fulfill a large part of the Foundation’s mission by continuing education and the betterment of our community. The Gaston Community Foundation is your foundation, your future.
